In 2021, the European Parliament adopted the new European Climate Law, which set emissions reduction target for 2030 at 55% and made the climate neutrality target for 2050 legally binding. Climate change is everyone’s responsibility: One way or another, we all contribute to it.

HK-Ceram considers it of the utmost importance to mitigate the effects of climate change and to meet the EU targets. To this aim, we installed a 300 kW solar system on one of our production halls in 2020. Then, in 2023, a further 400 kW solar system was installed at our plant. As a result, we now cover around 15% of our electricity consumption with solar energy.
